*Kingman turquoise is highly collectable and comes from the Kingman copper mine in northwest Arizona.
**Nacozari turquoise is also much sought after and comes from the Nacozari mine in the Sonoran desert, Mexico.
Approx. 80% of the turquoise on the US market is Chinese in origin, making Mexican/American turquoise considerably rarer and more valuable, and also more likely to increase in value in the future.
