*Nacozari turquoise is highly sought after and comes from the Nacozari mine in the Sonoran desert, Mexico.
** Sleeping Beauty turquoise is highly collectable for its ‘robin egg’ blue colour and is one of the most expensive turquoises in the world at present. These beautiful rondelles come from the famous Sleeping Beauty mine near Globe, Arizona.
Approx. 80% of the turquoise on the US market is Chinese in origin, making Mexican/American turquoise considerably rarer and more valuable, and also more likely to increase in value in the future.
