Rapture

Materials used:
- Teal blue hydrothermal quartz* faceted teardrop briolette pendant
- AAA quartz crystal (earth-mined) microfaceted rondelles
- AAA teal blue apatite microfaceted rondelles
- Rose quartz faceted teardrops
- AAA dreamy lavender chalcedony step cut ovals with detailed faceting (natural colour, not dyed)
- AAA white 9mm freshwater pearls
- Rose quartz carved rounds
- White 6mm freshwater pearls
- Bali sterling silver beads, caps, spacers and toggle clasp
- All findings are sterling silver

*Hydrothermal quartz is cultured quartz (not glass), which is grown on seed plates in an autoclave over a period of several weeks. I don’t normally use created gemstones, but this is worth breaking my rules for, as it would cost a small fortune to obtain an earth-mined gemstone of this size and clarity. Hydro quartz is also very much in vogue with a number of top New York designers!
